Several from our church in Athens, GA have had the opportunity to give Bibles to Jews lately. The Lord recently made a way for us to be able to distribute over 400 Heb/Eng New Testaments to Jews at an upcoming Passover festival. In April, we’ll be able to set up a table offering free literature at “Israel Day” on the UGA campus. Hundreds of Jews will attend this event.
Last Sunday we had a very unusual service. When I read my text and started to preach, the Holy Ghost told me to stop. I called on someone to pray and nothing happened. I asked someone else to pray, and the Lord told me to go down the hallway. I then called on someone to sing while I excused myself. As I walked down the hallway, in strolled a man complaining about how much he hated football and the Super Bowl. He said that Jesus wouldn’t touch unkosher pigskin. I found out that he was a Jewish man on his lunch break that “just happened to stop by” to use the restroom. He was pulling into the parking lot just as God told me to go out of the room. Long story short, I was able to have a great witness with him, and he followed me to my van to receive a Bible and tracts. When I returned to the room, I had great liberty to preach and the rest of the service was out of this world!
